Approach to therapy:

My approach to therapy is rooted in creating a space where clients feel genuinely safe, supported, and free to show up as they are. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is foundational to the work we do together. I believe deeply in each individual's capacity for growth and self-discovery, and I see my role as walking alongside clients as they deepen self-awareness, lean into their inherent strengths, and expand their toolkit to grow into the version of themselves they are working toward. From there, I draw on a wide range of theoretical frameworks and evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), letting the client's unique needs, goals, and lived experience guide which tools we reach for together. I also place value on honoring identity and culture within the therapeutic space, and I am passionate about exploring the connection between nutrition and mental health as part of a holistic mind-body approach to care.

Approach to wellness:

For me, wellness looks like walking a trail that restores me, a good cup of coffee or matcha, and a meal shared with people I love. I find joy in revisiting a favourite rom-com, trying out a new recipe, or a hike that leads to a beautiful view. I believe in honouring the mind-body connection and nourishing both, something that carries into my clinical work as well.
