Group Counseling & Lunch Series

Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy where small groups of individuals meet regularly in a supportive space guided by a trained therapist. CAPS provides several options for group therapy for both treatment and support.

Group participation requires completing an initial consultation appointment. You can schedule this appointment through your MiChart portal or click here for more information on establishing your MiChart Portal. From the initial consultation, you can be referred to available groups. Some groups may require a screening appointment with the group facilitator. If you have questions about group counseling or have an interest in a particular topic, please email caps-uofm@umich.edu.
