Personal Interests:
Outside of the therapy room, I really value being surrounded by the people, places, and little things that make life feel truly meaningful. I love spending time with friends, family, and my two cats (Onyx and Everest), and I’m happiest when I’m exploring somewhere new, whether that’s a cozy coffee shop, a thrift store, or a farmers market. I also love creative outlets like crocheting, making pottery, painting, or listening to music. And, in the in-between, I am absolutely getting over-invested in a TV show.
Approach to therapy & wellness:
My approach to therapy is warm, thoughtful, and collaborative. I strive to meet clients where they are while providing a safe space to explore and take meaningful steps toward where they want to be. I work from a trauma-informed, psychodynamic, and relational framework to thoughtfully explore how past experiences and relationships, core needs and fears, can shape the narratives we hold and the ways we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us. I blend this depth and insight with practical emotional and cognitive-behavioral (CBT) tools that clients can carry with them outside of the therapy room. Ultimately, I believe the authentic, here-and-now relationship we build in therapy is a powerful part of this process.
