About Me:

As a social worker, my therapeutic approach is grounded in a strengths-based and client-centered perspective that emphasizes collaboration, empathy, and the development of genuine interpersonal relationships. I view clients as experts in their own lives and work alongside them to identify and achieve their goals. In practice, I explore a variety of modalities and mindfulness-based approaches, while also drawing on systems theory to understand the broader contexts shaping their experiences. My aim is to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and empowering space where students feel heard, valued, and supported as they navigate challenges and build resilience.

Self-care is a must in my life, and I enjoy maintaining an active lifestyle through golfing, walking, running, weightlifting, and spending time outdoors. Staying connected to those I love most, including my family, friends, and of course my dog, is also essential to my well-being. I make it a priority to celebrate the small and simple things in life, and even a sunny day can make everything feel brighter.
