Purpose:
CAPS in Action (CIA) is dedicated to fostering a holistically healthy environment at the University of Michigan by promoting mental health awareness, support, and inclusion. We empower students to enhance a culture of care through hands-on outreach initiatives and community engagement, guided by the expertise of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) professionals. Our mission is to create a campus where every individual feels supported, valued, and inspired to prioritize their mental well-being.
Participation:
CIA includes both undergraduate and graduate members who are passionate about all things mental health across the campus community. Please email CIA Leadership at caps-in-action@umich.edu for more information about how to get involved.
Structure:
CIA is led by an executive leadership team of eleven students in various roles.
Availability & Meetings:
CIA meets weekly for committee meetings. CIA also holds monthly general body meetings.
