Approach to Therapy:

I enjoy working with students by meeting them where they are. I use a multicultural and holistic approach, tailoring therapy to their unique needs and goals, including factors like race, education level, and income. My sessions incorporate unique practices such as mindfulness, art therapy, and eco-therapy, as well as traditional approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy when needed. Collaboration with clients, staff, and peers is essential to help students feel connected to their mind, body, and soul.

Approach to Wellness

When I'm not in therapy sessions, you can find me enjoying physical activities like hiking, swimming, spin classes, and Zumba. I also love indoor activities such as watching movies, listening to music, crocheting, reading, and going to art museums. I also find that my well-being is strongly supported by my family, friends, staff, and colleagues.
