Approach to Therapy

I value collaborating with my clients and meeting them where they are at in the present moment, so I primarily draw from person-centered theory. I also integrate elements of CBT, ACT, EFT, relational, and Adlerian theories as well. Within the therapy space, this looks like approaching our work together non-judgmentally and with acceptance while also incorporating identifying core beliefs and values, focusing on emotions, emphasizing the therapeutic relationship, and utilizing a holistic lens. Ultimately, I hope to work with you to co-create a space that feels warm and supportive where you feel comfortable being openly and authentically yourself.

Approach to Wellness

I was recently introduced to the 8 dimensions of wellness and really appreciated its holistic approach.  Personally, I try to maintain my work-life balance by being in nature, often with my two dogs, and connecting with loved ones. I also love baking, listening to music, and exploring the local art and music scene.
