Approach to Therapy:
My therapeutic approach is integrative and rooted in multiculturalism, liberation psychology, and social justice. I primarily draw from psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapies to explore early experiences, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and support clients in navigating distress. I center clients’ sociocultural contexts and incorporate strengths-based practices from Black psychology to affirm identity and promote healing. My work is adaptive, relational, and committed to helping clients thrive, not just survive.
Approach to Wellness:
I believe wellness is holistic and includes rest, community care, and joyful movement. I enjoy being active, spending time with loved ones, curating calm spaces, and engaging in reflective practices that ground me in my purpose.
